About Us

Nestled in the southwest corner of beautiful Washoe Valley, Franktown Estates is a mecca for those who love to play in the world yet can pull the edges of their sanctuaries in behind them. This gated enclave of 107 home sites amidst Toiyabe Golf Club presents grand vistas of the Sierra Nevada to the west and Washoe Lake to the east.

Reno, with its great entertainment and outdoor sports focus is minutes away, providing access to the nation’s airways. Via the well-developed highway system, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley and San Francisco beckon for quick getaways or even day trips. Other seductive getaways like Apple Valley and the old California Gold Country offer close, less well-known jaunts.

Every taste may be titillated in this exquisite locale. Ski, hunt, fish, ride, dine, hit the nightlife or retreat to your sanctuary – it is all here.

Homes at Franktown Estates range in style from hacienda to Cape Cod, tailored to their owner’s taste yet blended into the landscape and surrounding buildings in a delightful pastiche of pleasing architecture. It is, at once, eclectic and elegantly integrated, bespeaking the western ideal of a personal touch.

Home sites range from just over one to two and one-half acres. Elevations range over several hundred feet in a gently rolling meadow providing attractive siting for homes with respect to one another. There are several ponds and year-round streams within the boundaries.

Philosophically, the Franktown Estates Homeowner’s Association aims to maximize homeowner pride and community satisfaction. All of the grounds are beautifully landscaped with a wide variety of plants, grasses and trees. Fall brings gorgeous colors and winter has mountain snowscapes to rival any in the world.
